Business Context

Metro identified a critical need to evolve its operational efficiency by digitizing an existing manual order process. The pre-existing system presented challenges in terms of data entry automation, ensuring accuracy, and achieving seamless integration with their MDW software. Achieving seamless and real-time integration with existing legacy systems, including MDW and MMS software, to ensure accurate data fetching, order placement, and consistent data exchange across the retail operations.
Developing precise automation for complex data entry, calculation of total order values, and advanced logic for highlighting stock statuses (e.g., high stock days, old stock), ensuring error-free data population and formula accuracy.
Implementing a secure, role-based approval workflow with dynamic thresholds for order values, ensuring proper user authentication and authorization across various stakeholder roles while maintaining efficient system response times.
